FRS Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading professional services organisation with a strong presence across Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Tax Advisor to join their team in Claremorris, Co. Mayo.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax professional with accountancy practice experience to join a supportive and established team, work directly with clients and develop their career across a broad range of tax advisory and compliance services.

🔹 The Role

As Tax Advisor, you will:

  • Manage and develop strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Deliver a full range of tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Provide support to Senior Accountants on technical tax queries.
  • Liaise directly with Revenue on client matters.
  • Advise clients across a broad range of Irish taxation matters.
  • Analyse and resolve client tax issues in a proactive and commercially focused manner.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the wider organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CTA/AITI qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge across all areas of Irish taxation.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach.
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a professional services environment.
