Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead high-impact process improvement initiatives for a large national retailer. Required Skills:
- 5–7 years of project management experience, with a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma
- Hands-on experience leading retail or merchandising initiatives; retail industry experience highly preferred (e.g., Staples, Amazon, TJX)
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional communication skills with a commanding executive presence
- Problem-solving mindset with expertise in process improvements
- Finance knowledge is a plus, including rebates, pricing, and profitability
Nice to Have Skills:
- Retail or CPG experience, particularly in large retail environments
- Experience supporting retail operations, merchandising, or supply chain initiatives
- Prior involvement in financial analysis related to rebates, pricing, and profitability
- Ability to work effectively in a client/vendor environment and adapt to different stakeholder needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications or degrees are a plus
- Demonstrated success in managing similar projects within retail or CPG sectors
Other Requirements:
- Location: MetroWest, MA (must be able to work onsite 3 days/week, Tuesday through Thursday)
- Duration: 6+ months with a strong likelihood of extension
- Bill Rate: $120–$150/hr (flexible depending on experience and negotiations)
- Immediate availability preferred, with a start date as soon as possible
- Travel: Local to the MetroWest area; no extensive travel required
