An opportunity has become available for an experienced Finance Officer to join a well-established organisation within the wholesale/distribution sector. This hands-on role offers a broad mix of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciliations and stakeholder engagement responsibilities within a collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end Accounts Receivable including invoicing, collections and account maintenance
  • Management of outstanding debtors and credit applications
  • Accounts Payable processing and supplier payment runs
  • Credit card and employee expense reconciliation
  • Multi-currency transaction processing
  • Customer and supplier account reconciliations
  • Balance sheet, debtor and creditor reconciliations
  • Maintaining master data accuracy across customer and supplier records
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve account queries
  • Supporting month-end finance activities and reporting requirements
About You
  • To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Previous experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP and /NetSuite, highly regarded)
  • Exposure to multi-currency transactions will be advantageous
