HVAC Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and boiler systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality service and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.

  • Troubleshoot system issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and electrical testing equipment.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Complete equipment repairs and replacements as needed.

  • Coordinate with plumbing, electrical, and other trades to complete projects effectively.

  • Explain completed services and provide basic maintenance guidance to customers.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

  • Follow all company and job-site safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous HVAC technician or service technician experience required.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC equipment and systems.

  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of boiler systems preferred.

  • Experience with refrigeration systems, appliance repair, welding, construction, or property maintenance is a plus.

  • Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites.

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • Pay Rate is $18.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience

  • 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

  • Temp-To-Hire

  • Benefits after Probation period
