CAD/CAM Programmer (SolidWorks) 

Columbus, OH | 2nd Shift | $70,000–$80,000 + Full Benefits

Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Hours: Approximately 45–50 hours per week

What You'll Do

• Create and optimize CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, and sheet metal bending equipment
• Develop efficient toolpaths using SolidWorks and CAD/CAM software
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models
• Improve existing programs to reduce cycle times and increase production efficiency
• Validate programs through simulation and first-run testing
• Partner with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes
• Prepare setup sheets, tooling documentation, and program libraries

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of CAD/CAM programming experience
• Strong experience with SolidWorks (Fusion 360, Mastercam, CATIA, or similar software also considered)
• Experience programming sheet metal fabrication equipment
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T
• Experience with CNC toolpath generation and manufacturing processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Salvagnini equipment is a significant plus
• Knowledge of quality inspection tools and manufacturing best practices preferred
