Location: San Diego, CA (100% onsite, multiple sites may be required)

Pay Range: $34.50-$39.50/hr

Schedule: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Duration: 2-Year Contract (strong potential to extend)

Overview

Seeking an experienced Industrial Athletic Trainer with an active ATC certification and a background in Kinesiology. Ideal candidates will have experience in corporate fitness, occupational health, industrial environments, or military settings.

Level III: 5–8 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Identify and help mitigate workplace hazards to maintain a safe working environment
• Support the implementation and maintenance of safety programs and emergency response procedures
• Monitor and maintain safety equipment to ensure operational readiness
• Document and report safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
• Deliver employee safety training and promote safe work practices
• Collaborate with supervisors and safety personnel to resolve workplace safety concerns
• Stay current on industry safety regulations and best practices to support proactive risk management

Requirements

• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
• Bachelor’s degree or background in Kinesiology or related field
• Experience in industrial, corporate fitness, occupational health, or military environments preferred
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and injury prevention
• Ability to work onsite full-time and travel between local sites as needed
