ABOUT THE POSITION.
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Remedial Engineer to join a well-established and collaborative consultancy. In this role, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and specialist remedial projects, taking ownership from initial investigation through to project completion. You will lead projects autonomously while managing client relationships, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery. The role also involves mentoring and supporting junior engineers, preparing fee proposals and invoices, and maintaining clear communication with clients, strata managers, contractors, and other key stakeholders throughout each stage of the project. DUTIES.
- Investigate structural issues and recommend remedial actions
- Prepare clear, tailored reports for clients and stakeholders
- Manage projects to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Maintain strong client communication and relationships
- Work independently and manage tasks effectively
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelors degree of Civil or Structural Engineering or similar field
- Proven experience in remedial engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, and similar software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with managing a Strata & Insurance portfolio
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
- CPEng and DBP or in the process is highly regarded, but not essential
