- This Territory Manager position looking after NSW South will build deep, long-lasting relationships with hospitals and clinicians through providing clinical demonstrations and instruction for use of company products in presale, implementation, and post-sale situations in formal educational as well as small group or individual presentations in patient-care areas throughout a healthcare facility, to gain or increase acceptance of company’s products and technology.
- This is a hunter sales position. You will sell to emergency physicians, interventional radiologists and vascular surgeons and provide case support within the operating theatre, supporting surgeons in the use of your product. This role is on-call 1 in every 3 weeks, however, it is rare to be called out outside of normal business hours.
- This is a strategic senior sales role that requires you to develop a clinical pathway for doctors and surgeons to understand how and why the use of your product is essential for best patient outcomes.
- The role will work with customers & prospects to introduce, promote, and increase the usage of products throughout a hospital and assist with the collection and dissemination of information or feedback provided by customers.
- You will represent the company at various trade shows or educational meetings and provide product support and education to users primarily in hospitals, specialist rooms or theatre.
- You will continuously increase knowledge of new developments within your territory as well as company products to perform as a subject matter expert.
- Bachelor of Science degree or related qualification.
- Medical device sales experience (5+ years) selling medical devices to surgeons within the operating theatre environment with a deep understanding of the hospital landscape in NSW Health, preferably working with interventional radiologists and/or vascular surgeons, however, this is not mandatory. The right attitude and medical device surgical sales in the OR is key here.
- Acceptance of a on-call clinical support (in theatre) component (keeping in mind this does not occur often, 1 in every 3 weeks).
- Strategic sales background as a senior medical device sales rep used to navigating the internal machinations of NSW Health hospitals to develop clinical pathways for product uptake. As this position is based in Southern Sydney, you will preferably live south of the Harbour Bridge.
- Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
- Advanced MS Office skills to develop effective reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Demonstrate effective educational and presentation skills in diverse settings from one-on-one to formal large group situations.
- You will have full Australian working rights and be vaccinated against Covid.
