Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full-time | Monday to Friday | Day Shift (8:00am – 4:30pm, 40 hours per week) with flexibility for additional hours and occasional on-call support.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently while contributing to continuous improvement projects that make a real difference across the site.

Key Responsibilities

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across manufacturing equipment and site facilities.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults.
• Work closely with production teams to maximise machine reliability and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete all relevant documentation.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health, safety and quality procedures.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, efficient and reliable production environment.

About You

To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer role, you'll ideally have:

• A recognised engineering qualification or completed apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineering.
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A flexible approach with the willingness to support additional hours or on-call requirements when needed.

Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery or automated production equipment would be advantageous but is not essential.
