Clarity Partners has been exclusively approached to support a client in their search for an experienced Credit Specialist to join a global technology business delivering communications and remote connectivity solutions across maritime and land-based industries.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded credit professional to join a technology-focused organisation and contribute to the efficient management of its customer accounts and financial processes.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, monitoring balances, credit exposure and payment activity
- Conduct credit assessments and support the review of credit limits and payment terms
- Monitor aged receivables and proactively follow up overdue accounts to support timely collections
- Investigate and resolve account queries, discrepancies and payment issues with customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate customer account records and credit information
- Prepare regular reports on receivables, overdue accounts and credit exposure
- Identify potential credit risks and escalate issues where appropriate
- Support the ongoing improvement of credit control processes, policies and procedures
- Provide broader support to the finance team as required
About You
- Previous experience in a credit, accounts receivable or credit control role
- Strong understanding of credit management and debt collection processes
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical and analytical skills
- Confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to investigate and resolve account discrepancies independently
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working with financial systems and Microsoft Excel
- A proactive and commercially focused approach to credit management
- Experience within a technology, telecommunications or international business environment would be advantageous
