Dandenong Location
$62 per hour + Super
Contract until January 2027

We are seeking a Family Support Case Manager to join a supportive multidisciplinary team based in Dandenong. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing case management, early intervention, and family support services to families experiencing complex challenges.
You will provide case management support to vulnerable families referred through The Orange Door and Child Protection, working collaboratively with families and key stakeholders to improve child safety, wellbeing, and family stability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a caseload of vulnerable children, young people, and families
• Conducting family assessments, risk assessments, and safety planning
• Developing and implementing case plans and family support interventions
• Providing crisis support and coordinating referrals to appropriate services
• Facilitating parenting support programs and group-based initiatives
• Advocating for families and strengthening connections to community services
• Maintaining accurate case notes, records, and reports
• Building strong relationships with government agencies, schools, health providers, and community organisations

About You
To be successful, you will have:

• A Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Science, or a related field relevant to child and family welfare
• Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and families
• Strong case management experience, including risk assessment and family intervention practice
• Knowledge of child safety frameworks, mandatory reporting requirements, and relevant legislation
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with community organisations and service providers
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Requirements

• Current Victorian Driver's Licence
• Valid Working With Children Check
• Satisfactory Police Check
