Senior Business Analyst

We are partnering with a leading banking client to appoint an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale transformation program. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned BA who can work across business, technology, risk, and compliance teams to deliver complex regulatory and strategic change initiatives. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with extensive banking experience, strong stakeholder management capability, and a proven track record of delivering business analysis outcomes within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business, functional, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders across business, technology, risk, operations, and compliance functions.
• Analyse and translate complex regulatory and business requirements into practical operational and technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed business requirements, process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and business cases.
• Lead As-Is and To-Be process analysis, identifying opportunities for optimisation, automation, and improved customer outcomes.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, developers, and testing teams to ensure requirements are effectively delivered.
• Support and coordinate UAT activities, including test planning, execution, defect management, and business readiness.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and provide recommendations to support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to change management, implementation, and post-deployment activities.

Skills & Experience

• 10-15+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with significant experience in Banking and Financial Services.
• Strong experience delivering transformation, regulatory, risk, compliance, or operational change programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, business process modelling, stakeholder engagement, and solution design.
• Excellent understanding of BA methodologies, frameworks, and delivery practices across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence and engage senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, and other business analysis tools.
• Previous experience working in complex enterprise-scale programs.

Desirable:

• Financial Crime (FinCrime) experience, including AML, KYC, Sanctions, Fraud, or Transaction Monitoring programs.
