The Role:
- Lead the daily operations across accommodation, food & beverage and guest services.
- Inspire, coach and develop a diverse team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, rostering, performance management and employee development.
- Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, labour management and cost control.
- Monitor key business metrics and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee payroll, reporting, accounts receivable and general administration.
- Ensure high standards of presentation, service delivery and guest satisfaction across all departments.
- Maintain compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, workplace health and safety and company policies.
- Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers and key stakeholders while professionally resolving issues when required.
- Work collaboratively with ownership to implement new initiatives and support the ongoing success of the venue.
You'll be an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front and building high-performing teams. You understand the commercial drivers of a successful hotel and have the confidence to make decisions that positively influence both people and performance.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Previous experience managing a hotel or multi-department hospitality venue.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring and developing teams.
- Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, wage control and operational reporting.
- Experience with hotel property management systems such as RMS (or similar), along with accounts receivable and financial administration.
- Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
- A hands-on management style with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety, liquor licensing and hospitality compliance.
- Current (or the ability to obtain) Approved Manager and RSA certification in Western Australia.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Competitive salary of $110 - $115k + super based on experience.
