As a Financial Strategy Manager, you will be responsible to assist in management reporting, budget/forecast management include tracking of KPIs and build/refine Financial models. You are expected to leverage data analytics/visualization/modeling skills to assist business partners to make informed decisions and nurture “data driven culture” within the organization.

What you will do

  • Assist with collating and analyzing periodic/ad-hoc financial decks to report to the management team.

  • Building/Refining the forecast/budgeting & other financial models/processes to develop more structured, automated and sustainable models/processes.

  • Develop periodic/ad-hoc Financial Report & KPI dashboard to enable business partners to translate such raw data into actionable business goals.

  • Taking a part of Global/Local Finance projects to represent the Japan Finance team and work closely with the project members from the US headquarter and other regions to contribute to the success of projects.

Requirements

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Strategy & Planning or equivalent (i.e. FP&A) areas

  • Practical understanding and experience in building of financial modeling for budgeting and forecasting

  • Keen sense of identifying potential issues, strong analytical & problem-solving skills to lead data driven decision making discussion

  • As a part of global project member, strong interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide cross-section of the company team is required

  • Fluent Japanese and business-level English language proficiency are required, meetings and discussions will be conducted frequently in both languages and writing skill is also a must in both.

  • Solid understanding of general Accounting processes and experience to lead or take part of the Finance projects (i.e. ERP implementations/upgrade, Process re-engineering etc.) is a plus

  • Hands-on experience in statistical tool, SQL, VBA, and/or MS Excel & Salesforce, NetSuite and/or PBCS experience are plus

  • Independent, self-starter willing to think outside of the box

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
