Sponsorship & Marketing Manager

9-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Full-Time | Hybrid

Our client, is seeking an experienced Sponsorship & Marketing Manager to join their team on a 9-month maternity cover contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketing professional with strong sponsorship and event marketing experience. You'll play a key role in developing sponsorship strategies, delivering integrated marketing campaigns, and driving the success of a diverse portfolio of exhibitions, conferences, awards and live events.

The Role

Working across multiple events, you will be responsible for building and managing commercial partnerships while leading strategic marketing initiatives that increase audience engagement, sponsorship revenue and brand awareness.

This is a fast-paced position suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, collaborating with stakeholders and delivering high-quality marketing campaigns from concept through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver sponsorship strategies and tailored partnership packages.
  • Identify, secure and manage sponsorship opportunities, building long-term commercial relationships.
  • Act as the primary contact for sponsors, ensuring contractual deliverables and activations are successfully delivered.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive registrations, ticket sales and commercial objectives.
  • Manage marketing budgets, monitor campaign performance and optimise ROI.
  • Lead event branding and creative direction across digital, print and onsite assets.
  • Oversee the production of marketing collateral, promotional materials and event communications.
  • Work closely with internal teams, agencies, media partners and suppliers to deliver successful campaigns.
  • Support PR activity, media partnerships and communications strategies.
  • Analyse campaign performance and produce post-event reports and recommendations.

About You

You will have:

  • 5+ years' experience in event marketing, sponsorship, exhibitions or a similar commercial marketing role.
  • Proven experience securing and managing sponsorships or commercial partnerships.
  • Strong background delivering integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience managing branding, creative production and agency relationships.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and reporting on campaign performance.
  • Strong copywriting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, commercially focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
