Role

Working closely with experienced Broker, you will play a pivotal role in servicing a portfolio of commercial clients while ensuring all administrative and client servicing requirements are delivered to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurer partners
  • Managing client files and maintaining accurate policy documentation
  • Preparing new business, renewals, endorsements and policy alterations
  • Producing renewal reports, proposals and other client documentation
  • Managing premium collections and premium funding agreements.
  • Negotiating policy terms with insurers on behalf of clients 
  • Proactively managing insurance renewals to ensure seamless client service
  • Working collaboratively with claims, broking and support teams to deliver outstanding client outcomes
  • Keeping up to date with insurance legislation, industry developments and compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience in client servicing, account management or administration
  • Insurance broking experience is highly regarded but not essential
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • A proactive, self motivated approach with strong time management skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills
  • New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), or currently working towards it, would be advantageous
