At The Skin Hospital (TSH) our mission as a not-for-profit charitable health care provider is to benefit people who suffer from diseases of the skin. TSH aims to:
  

• Develop the science of dermatology and its sub-specialties
• Be a centre of excellence in the provision of dermatology services, research and education
• Maintain visibility and relevance for our stakeholders and for our dermatology trainees, students and nurses
• Remain financially independent

  
TSH is a growing, specialist healthcare business operating across three sites in New South Wales, incorporating both day surgery facilities and specialist consulting services.
  
The Role & Key Deliverables
  
The Board is seeking an experienced, commercially astute and highly engaged Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through its next stage of growth and maturity.
  
This is not a role for a purely strategic executive operating at arm's length from the business. They are seeking a leader who combines strong commercial capability with a practical, hands-on leadership style and who enjoys working alongside a small but capable management team.
  
The incoming CEO will have the opportunity to:
  

• Build on strong organisational foundations
• Lead sustained growth and margin expansion through operational excellence and efficiencies
• Deliver an important healthcare infrastructure project
• Expand innovative service models including telehealth
• Shape the future direction of a growing healthcare business
• Make a meaningful impact on patient access and outcomes across NSW

  
The successful candidate will inherit a business with momentum, strong market demand and significant opportunities for expansion. Their challenge will be to convert that growth into sustainable profitability while continuing to strengthen culture, patient experience and clinical partnerships.
  
The Board is seeking a leader who understands that growth alone is not success and can drive commercial outcomes without compromising quality, culture or patient care.
  
Candidate Profile
  

• You will possess natural warmth, presence and credibility, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders around a common vision.
• Commercially astute you have demonstrated experience improving profitability and margins through operational excellence, efficiencies and service development.
• Strong execution capability with a track record of delivering results
• Experience delivering healthcare facilities development with strong project governance and implementation
• Healthcare experience ideally from day hospitals, private healthcare, specialist medical services, ambulatory care or adjacent healthcare sectors with demonstrated growth and transformation.

  
Location
  
Head office is located in Darlinghurst with facilities in Westmead and Dubbo.
TSH supports a hybrid working model.
