With continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and gain exposure to a diverse range of landmark projects while working alongside some of the industry’s leading professionals.


ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of quantity surveying services, including measurement, cost planning, estimating, cost reporting, and commercial advisory. Working collaboratively within a team of experienced Quantity Surveyors, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timeframes and budgets. You will report directly to the senior leadership team and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes for clients.

DUTIES.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals within a collaborative and supportive environment, with exposure to complex projects and the ability to further develop your technical expertise and client relationships.

You will be responsible for:
  • Delivering end-to-end quantity surveying and cost management services across a range of projects
  • Preparing feasibility studies, cost plans, estimates, and detailed cost reports
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle
  • Providing accurate cost advice, risk analysis, and value management solutions
  • Reviewing tender documentation, assessing variations, and supporting procurement processes
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members while contributing to a positive team culture
  • Representing Mitchell Brandtman with professionalism and a strong focus on client outcomes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. 

You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a client-focused consultancy environment and is looking for the opportunity to work on high-quality projects with a respected industry team.
Ideally, you will have:
  • 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management
  • Previous experience within a consultancy environment
  • Strong technical QS capability and commercial understanding
  • Experience across sectors including commercial, residential, education, health, government, or infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver accurate outcomes
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • RICS, AIQS, or equivalent accreditation (highly regarded)
