About the Role
- Lead generation through structured research, stakeholder mapping, and targeted outreach
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial fit‑out opportunities under $3M
- Conduct outreach across B2B and B2C clients, including cold calling and proactive engagement
- Nurture relationships to convert leads into tenders and long‑term partnerships
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and client engagement initiatives
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting (Salesforce)
- Use Arealytics and BCI Central to identify emerging opportunities
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless handover and project alignment
- Uphold WHS, quality, and environmental standards in all BD activity
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Development
- Background in construction or adjacent industries (architecture, trades, design, property, etc.)
- Research and cold‑calling/outreach skills are essential
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
- Experience in Account Management (desirable)
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Ability to identify, qualify, and nurture opportunities
- Market awareness and comfort with technology and analytics tools
