Finance Manager

About the Role

Reporting to a senior finance executive, you will oversee key finance operations while supporting process optimization, operational reviews, and business initiatives across multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on financial management with continuous improvement and business partnership.

 

What You'll Do

• Oversee treasury activities, cash flow planning, and day-to-day financial operations to support the organization's liquidity and financial performance.
• Provide oversight of accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial controls.
• Monitor working capital by partnering with operational teams to improve cash flow, inventory management, and overall financial performance.
• Support corporate finance activities, including banking relationships, financing administration, and other operational finance responsibilities.
• Conduct finance and operational reviews across multiple business locations to identify opportunities for stronger controls, improved efficiency, and process consistency.
• Lead process improvement initiatives by streamlining workflows, documenting best practices, and supporting automation where appropriate.
• Contribute to business initiatives such as system implementations, operational enhancements, and organizational projects.
• Prepare financial analysis, reports, and presentations to support senior leadership in strategic decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders by providing financial guidance and operational support.
• Mentor and support finance team members while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement-focused culture.

What You Bring

• CPA designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or business operations.
• Experience overseeing finance processes within a multi-site or multi-location organization.
• Strong knowledge of treasury management, accounts payable, cash flow management, and working capital.
• Demonstrated success identifying operational improvements and implementing more efficient financial processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Experience working with enterprise financial systems and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support multiple business locations.
