The specialise in maintaining high end commercial buildings across London and the Home Counties and are looking for an experienced Area Manager to head up and manage a large commercial portfolio based in Central London.
The client is one of the leading names on the property management circuit and the main purpose of the job will be to ensure that contractual and technical operations are maintained to a very high standard across this varied portfolio of buildings.

The specialise in maintaining high end commercial buildings across London and the Home Counties and are looking for an experienced Area Manager to head up and manage a large commercial portfolio based in Central London.
The client is one of the leading names on the property management circuit and the main purpose of the job will be to ensure that contractual and technical operations are maintained to a very high standard across this varied portfolio of buildings.
Duties will include:
- Manage all financial budgets, P&L and technical issues.
- Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s.
- Responsible for managing the company’s H&S and environmental performance across the entire portfolio.
- Recruitment of any new staff required on sites.
- Responsible for the technical development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals.
- Management of client relationships on a daily basis.
- Management of all reports.
- Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.
- Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND or higher.
- Proven background in understanding of budgets and P&L.
- Strong engineering understanding.
- Previous experience of managing large maintenance teams.
- Experience of service delivery in the commercial maintenance sector.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.
- Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Salary up to 85k.
