I’m currently partnering with a well-established national Tier 2 contractor known for delivering high-quality fit-out, refurbishment, and new build projects across the commercial sector.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Safety Advisor to take ownership of their QLD operations.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to step into a QLD lead safety position, working closely with operations and project teams across multiple sites.
  • Act as the sole Safety Advisor in QLD, supporting site teams and Operations Managers
  • Provide hands-on safety support across commercial new build, fit-out, and refurb projects
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to drive best practice and compliance
  • Report into the national safety function, with strong backing from an established team
  • Play a key role in influencing safety culture across the region
About You
  • Proven experience as a Safety Advisor within commercial construction
  • Strong background across new build and/or fit-out/refurbishment projects
  • Comfortable working autonomously and owning the safety function
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence site teams and senior stakeholders
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach with a strong on-site presence
