Master Data Specialist - Fixed Plant

Through Rio Tinto’s partnership with Chandler Macleod, we are seeking an experienced Master Data Specialist - Fixed Plant.
The Master Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving the integrity, accuracy, and governance of Fixed Plant asset master data across SAP, ALIM, engineering drawings and associated business systems. The role ensures alignment of asset information including Functional Locations (FLOCs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), equipment records, maintenance plans, tactics, and engineering documentation to support safe, reliable and efficient maintenance execution.
Flexible roster arrangements can be provided for this role. Flexibility to attend site for shutdowns when required, typically every 6-13 weeks, is desirable.
Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Engineering and working in a collaborative environment across Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Reliability, you will:

Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Engineering and working in a collaborative environment across Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Reliability, you will:
- Develop, maintain and govern Fixed Plant master data within SAP and associated systems
- Create, modify and maintain Functional Locations (FLOCs), Equipment Records and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Maintain Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, Measurement Points and Spare Parts Structures
- Contribute to the integrity and accuracy of asset data across SAP, ALIM and engineering documentation
- Work safely within Rio Tinto procedures
- Engineering qualification, Mechanical Trade or Electrical Trade qualification
- Genuine in-field experience working with Fixed Plant / Wet Plant equipment
- Experience with SAP PM and Fixed Plant asset master data
- Knowledge of Functional Locations (FLOCs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), equipment records and asset hierarchies
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Reliability and Operations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate asset data
- Flexibility to attend site for shutdowns when required, typically every 6-13 weeks
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and other testing
