A well-established organization is looking for an early-career Accountant to join its growing finance and accounting team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with approximately 1–2 years of experience who wants to continue building their accounting foundation in a larger, professional environment.

This role could be especially attractive to someone coming from public accounting or a Big 4 environment who wants strong career development without the same pace and demands.

What You’ll Do

  • Support day-to-day accounting activities and month-end processes
  • Review financial data, reconciliations, and reports for accuracy
  • Identify discrepancies and assist with resolving accounting issues
  • Support financial reporting and general accounting analysis
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Partner with accounting and finance team members on ongoing initiatives
  • Assist with ad hoc financial and analytical projects

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Approximately 1–2 years of accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to review financial information and identify discrepancies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a professional team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Public accounting or Big 4 experience
  • Experience working within a mid-to-large organization
  • Currently pursuing a CPA
  • Strong academic background

  • Onsite interview with the hiring manager and team
  • Final video interview with senior finance leadership

This is a hybrid position based in East Brunswick, NJ, with an expectation of approximately 4 days onsite per week and some flexibility around the specific days.
