Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Production Assembler to join our team in Canton, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us build high-quality hydraulic components that meet precise specifications and support our company’s commitment to excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:
- Assembling hydraulic components: Build parts in various production cells following detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Operating hand tools safely and efficiently: Use tools such as Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and standard wrenches to complete assembly tasks.
- Inspecting and verifying components: Use calipers and micrometers to confirm dimensions and maintain consistent quality standards.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean, organized workspace and collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in component assembly or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and work from detailed instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse work environment
Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude: Ability to understand and work with mechanical components to ensure high-quality assembly.
- Precision and attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy when measuring, assembling, and inspecting components.
- Hand tool proficiency: Confident using basic hand tools to safely and effectively complete assembly tasks.
