Core Personnel Staffing is seeking experienced **KUKA Robot Programmer / Commissioning Technicians** to support a large-scale industrial automation project in Houston. This is an excellent opportunity for robotics professionals with hands-on KUKA programming and commissioning experience who thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

🔧 Responsibilities

* Commission KUKA industrial robotic systems
* Perform startup and commissioning of robotic automation cells
* Read, interpret, troubleshoot, and modify KUKA robot programs
* Create new robot programs and optimize existing programs
* Debug robotic motion paths and production sequences
* Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues
* Configure and optimize robotic cell performance
* Perform robot calibration and system validation
* Verify communication between robots, PLCs, HMIs, and peripheral equipment
* Support production launch activities
* Document programming changes and commissioning work
* Follow all customer and site safety procedures

## ✅ Qualifications

* **3+ years** of industrial robotic programming experience
* Hands-on experience commissioning **KUKA robotic systems**
* Strong knowledge of **KUKA KSS (KUKA System Software)**
* Ability to:

* Read and interpret KUKA programs
* Troubleshoot robot faults
* Debug robot points
* Create and modify robot programs
* Experience with robotic startup and commissioning
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working in industrial manufacturing environments

### ⭐ Preferred Experience

* PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
* Integration of conveyors, vision systems, and end-of-arm tooling
* Automotive manufacturing or industrial automation
* FAT/SAT support and robotic cell validation

## 💪 Physical Requirements

* Stand for extended periods
* Lift up to 50 lbs.
* Climb ladders and work around industrial equipment
* Wear required PPE
