Payroll Officer | Full-Time | South of the River

Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for your next opportunity? 

Working alongside another Payroll Officer, you'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing while ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. If you enjoy working in a varied role where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Reporting into the finance team, you'll be responsible for:

• Processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 300+ employees across multiple entities and payroll cycles.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and processing new starters, terminations and payroll changes.
• Liaising with managers to resolve timesheet and payroll queries.
• Preparing payroll journals and payroll reporting.
• Processing Superannuation, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Workers Compensation wage claims.
• Reviewing and interpreting employment contracts and payroll documentation.
• Ensuring payroll compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies.
• Managing the payroll inbox and responding to employee enquiries in a timely manner.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A minimum of 3 years' payroll experience.
• End-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Previous experience with Pronto (highly regarded but not essential).
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A professional approach with the ability to handle confidential information.
