Travel: Approximately 20%-25% European travel, including Italy

What you’ll be doing

• Investigate technical issues on polymer production lines and implement practical solutions.

• Improve process efficiency and reliability, helping reduce recurring problems and downtime.

• Collaborate with production colleagues and European specialists to build technical knowledge.

• Report to the Operations Manager, sharing findings and supporting safe process improvements.

Experience needed

• An engineering background in chemical, polymer, mechanical or industrial engineering; other relevant specialisms will be considered.

• A practical approach to problem-solving, with initiative and a willingness to learn.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with production and technical colleagues.

• Willingness to work on-site and undertake approximately 20%-25% European travel.

Recent graduates are welcome. One or two years’ relevant experience would be useful but is not essential, and specialist process knowledge can be developed on the job.
