Communications Officer

Great communicators don't just send emails—they keep projects moving.

We're looking for a Communications Officer to join a major telecommunications project, helping connect project teams, field crews and stakeholders through clear, engaging and timely communication.

This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a desk waiting for information to come to you. You'll be out building relationships, asking questions, solving problems and making sure the right people know what's happening.

What you'll be doing

• Build communication and engagement channels from the ground up.
• Create project updates, bulletins and workforce communications that people actually read.
• Partner with project managers, operational leaders and field teams to keep everyone aligned.
• Drive adoption of digital communication tools and platforms.
• Track engagement and identify opportunities to improve communication across the project.
• Support project delivery and change initiatives as the program evolves.

What we're looking for You'll probably have:

• 3+ years' experience in telecommunications, construction, utilities or another project-based industry.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly SharePoint.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive approach—you don't wait to be told what to do.
• The confidence to work with everyone from project managers through to field crews.

Experience in workforce engagement, change management or large infrastructure projects will put you ahead of the pack.
