- Undertakes public information activities as directed by the Public Information Manager to support incident response operations.
- Works collaboratively within the public information team to maintain systems, processes and workflows that ensure high‑quality communication outputs.
- Supports the development and rollout of communication strategies, campaigns and collateral.
- Monitors, tracks and reports on information relating to the PSHB incident, providing timely feedback to the team.
- Works closely with operational teams across the PSHB response to ensure cohesive messaging and assists in preparing regular bulletins for local government, industry, community groups and other stakeholders.
- Supports the management of internal and external stakeholders while building strong, effective working relationships.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced response environment.
- Experience in public information, communications, media, or stakeholder engagement (desirable).
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- National police clearance within 6 months old
