Position Overview

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team in Phoenix. This is a direct hire opportunity for a machinist who can independently set up and operate CNC milling machines while producing high-quality precision components.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quality-focused, and experienced in troubleshooting machining processes, reading blueprints, and working with close tolerances. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components
• Perform tooling changes, offset adjustments, and machine setup verification
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&T callouts
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with specifications
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to maintain production efficiency and quality
• Support production goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC mill setup and operation experience preferred
• Experience producing precision machined components in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Working knowledge of GD&T and inspection techniques
• Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges

Desired Skills

• CNC milling setup experience
• Understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, and speeds
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Ability to identify and resolve machining issues with minimal supervision
• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to support team objectives
