We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a supportive and collaborative HR team within a highly regarded global organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a broad Employee Relations role where you can make an immediate and meaningful contribution.
About the role
Working closely with leaders across a varied and complex organisation, you will provide trusted HR advice and take ownership of a broad portfolio of Employee Relations matters from initial assessment through to resolution.
You will partner closely with leaders to understand issues, assess risk, provide practical advice and support them through challenging conversations and people decisions.
You know that difficult workplace matters do not have to become complicated or combative. You bring a calm and considered approach, helping leaders see a clear way forward while ensuring matters are handled fairly, consistently and with respect.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing performance management and capability matters
- Workplace investigations
- Grievances and employee complaints
- Misconduct and disciplinary matters
- Conflict resolution and mediation
- Attendance, leave and employee wellbeing matters
- Organisational change, consultation and restructures
- Coaching and supporting leaders through sensitive people matters
- Ensuring appropriate documentation, process and legislative compliance
You will be an experienced HR Business Partner, Employee Relations Specialist or Senior HR Advisor with the confidence to manage complex matters and provide sound, practical advice to leaders.
You will bring:
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards
- Demonstrated experience managing complex Employee Relations matters
- Strong investigation, writing and documentation skills
- Excellent judgement and the ability to balance risk, commercial considerations and the human impact of decisions
- Confidence coaching leaders through sensitive situations
- A calm and measured approach with the ability to de-escalate challenging matters
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
