Role: Team Leader (2 Vacancies)

Post: Full-Time (39h pw) & Permanent

Salary: €56,915 per annum

Location: North Dublin/ Finglas Based

FRS Recruitment, in partnership with Aoibhneas, are seeking Team Leaders dedicated to maintain and develop the highest possible standards of service provision in order to provide a safe nurturing environment for individual women, children and young people experiencing Domestic Abuse. This role involve providing support and mentoring to the staff team and providing direct line support and supervision to the staff team.

Key Responsibilities, include but not limited to:

Staffing

• Provide leadership, direction and motivation consistent with good staff relations and the development of a high-performance client-centred learning culture.
• Oversee duties and responsibilities of staff to ensure care plans, record keeping, report writing and file audits meet professional standards.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure the highest possible standard of care practice is maintained at all times in line with policies, relevant legislation and national guidelines.

Service Provision

• Provide direct service and support to clients, including managing referrals conducting needs assessments, managing data requests or addressing complaints.

Administration

• Oversee administrative processes in line with organisational goals and senior leadership direction.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports.

Client & Community Services

• Ensure client information is handled professionally and with strict confidentiality.
• Implement and maintain systems to ensure every client has an individual care plan tailored to their needs and reviewed in line with standards.
• Develop referral pathways for women with local support services and networks.
• Build and maintain relationships with local service providers.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree-level qualification in social science, social care or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience working in a social care setting with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven: Case management skills; People management skills; Organisational skills; Time management; Decision making skills; Risk management; problem-solving
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and issues affecting women and children experiencing domestic violence.
• Excellent facilitation, training and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of child protection.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of inter-agency working
• Full Driving Licence
