Apply directFRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Farm Management Support Advisor on behalf of a leading of a leading supplier of farm automation products. This is a full-time permanent role.
The primary function of this role is to work alongside dairy farmers in the Kilkenny and Southeast region. You will provide them with support around robotic milking & feeding systems.
This is an opportunity for an agricultural professional who combines practical dairy-farming knowledge with an interest in technology, farm management data and customer support. The role involves providing on-farm guidance, training, and performance advice, while building strong long-term relationships with our customers.

Duties to include
- Provide guidance and support before, during and after the start-up of robotic milking and/or feeding systems.
- Check farm management software settings and advise customers on settings, reports and daily routines.
- Deliver training to farmers and farm employees, ensuring a smooth transition to Lely technology.
- Monitor farm performance through available dashboards and translate data into practical recommendations.
- Set goals with customers, agree actions and monitor progress.
- Provide farm management support and troubleshooting through farm visits, phone, email and remote support.
- Promote the use and sale of FMS service products.
- Build long-term customer relationships through a practical coaching and advisory approach.
- Participate in customer events and knowledge-sharing sessions with the Sales and Marketing teams.
Experience required
- Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Dairy Science, Agri-Business or a related discipline.
- Good knowledge of dairy farming.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and coaching skills.
- Good presentation and training skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A positive, practical can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driving licence.
