Chandler Macleod is seeking a Shop Assistant to support the team at the Steggles Shop in Pendle Hill, working 22–30 hours per week.

About the role
The role includes helping customers, processing sales, stocking shelves, and ensuring the shop is always clean and well presented.
In addition, you will support the team in: 
  • Ensuring safe work practices, food safety, quality standards, and environmentally responsible practices are always followed
  • Managing retail sales, meeting customer needs, and collaborating with other departments within the company
  • Providing prompt, courteous customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Operating the cash register, handling transactions efficiently, and supporting the team to meet deadlines and achieve goals
  • Complying with all regulatory and company standards for quality, safety, and the environment

About you 
As a Shop Assistant, you will
  • Have previous retail experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrate a business-oriented mindset
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be customer-focused, passionate about delivering excellent service
  • Possess money-handling skills and basic mathematical abilities
  • Be well-organised and efficient
  • Have unlimited Australian working rights
