Overview:
An exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Business Partner to act as a strategic partner and change agent, helping to build and develop people capability across the organisation. The role will support people-focused initiatives and deliver people strategies and change through effective business partnering. Working closely with the People & Culture Manager, the People & Culture Business Partner will help develop and implement a long-term People & Culture strategy aligned with the organisation’s goals, as well as deliver on the day to day HR operational requirements.
- Partner with department leaders to understand business needs, monitor People KPIs and develop effective people strategies.
- Deliver short- and medium-term People & Culture initiatives and projects.
- Manage employee relations matters effectively, including grievances, disciplinaries and restructures, while managing risk.
- Coach and support line managers on people-related matters and provide regular ER updates and trends.
- Drive employee engagement, inclusion, diversity and a positive organisational culture.
- Review, update and communicate People policies, procedures and the Employee Handbook.
- Use People Analytics to identify trends, support decision-making and improve performance.
- Support compliance with people-related ESG requirements, including modern slavery.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, including reward and recognition, employee forums, surveys and internal communications.
- Attend daily factory review meetings and support ongoing People & Culture projects.
- Champion continuous improvement by reviewing processes and removing non-value-adding activities.
Skills / Qualifications:
- CIPD level 5 qualified (desirable)
- Strong generalist HR experience from a Manufacturing, Production or related industry background.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Irish employment law.
- Experience of developing strategies and planning
- Experience and skilled at developing systems.
- Experience of dealing with a multiple of ER cases from day to day to complex.
- Strong influencing skills and relationship management at all levels internally and externally.
