Siteforce Recruitment is currently seeking experienced, hands-on Project Managers with backgrounds across both Civil and Commercial Construction. Join our client's team to make a significant impact on key projects in a thriving region, contributing to infrastructure and development initiatives that shape the community.

The Role

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing construction projects and a comprehensive understanding of industry practices. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to drive project progress and build positive relationships with project stakeholders.
 

Your duties will include:

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution activities.
  • Manage budgets, risks, and resources to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Implement quality control and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Work locations across Mackay, Whitsunday Regions, and throughout Queensland as projects require
 

What You Will Need

  • Civil operator machinery tickets and/or Project Management qualifications/experience
  • Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor or Project Manager
  • Hands-on experience delivering Australian civil construction projects
  • QBCC Site Supervisor Licence
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Valid White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Strong understanding of WHS and site compliance requirements
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Reliable, organised, and safety-focused
  • Strong communication skills
  • Local candidates preferred, or candidates willing to relocate at their own expense and be based in the Mackay & Whitsunday Regions
  • Australian Citizenship required
