Quality Lab Technician

Location: Local candidates only
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $22.00–$22.50/hour
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality environment

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Lab Technician to support product quality through hands-on inspection, sampling, testing, and quality control activities. This position will work in a manufacturing quality laboratory and will be responsible for performing routine product testing, incoming inspections, sample collection, and other quality-related activities.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a quality lab, manufacturing, inspection, or testing environment and be comfortable operating laboratory and measurement equipment while following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily fit, form, and function testing of products in the QA laboratory.

• Conduct certification and other quality testing as assigned.

• Perform mold qualification testing for new parts and mold modifications.

• Complete incoming inspections of materials and components.

• Collect and process product and lot samples for testing.

• Operate testing and measurement equipment according to established procedures and protocols.

• Identify and communicate quality issues and make routine day-to-day quality decisions.

• Follow established quarantine procedures for nonconforming products.

• Assist with investigations related to customer quality concerns.

• Support process validations and certification testing.

• Accurately document inspection and test results.

• Communicate quality-related instructions and findings to appropriate personnel.

• Perform other quality-related duties as needed to support product quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 1–3 years of laboratory, quality, inspection, or manufacturing experience.

• At least 12 months of quality laboratory experience preferred.

• Ability to accurately follow written procedures and testing protocols.

• Comfortable working with testing, inspection, and measurement equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product quality issues.

• Ability to document results accurately and communicate findings effectively.

• Manufacturing or production quality experience is highly preferred.

• Must be able to work 100% onsite and be a local candidate.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean, climate-controlled QA laboratory with good lighting and working conditions. The role may involve occasional exposure to chemicals and odors. Appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, eye protection, and respirators, will be provided as required.

Interview Process
