Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial industry to hire a Warehouse Supervisor. This role is responsible for leading, organising and supervising warehouse operations to ensure the effective and safe storage, management and distribution of goods. It plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency, inventory integrity, workplace safety and service excellence across the warehouse. This opportunity is based in Port Klang, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure that all hub warehouse staff are aware of their responsibilities, monitoring staff performance and providing relevant support.
  • Effective daily communication & resource planning is in place and perform DILO WILO & MILO, within the warehouse.
  • To ensure that warehouse stock integrity is maintained within company targets. 
  • To champion site Health and Safety, report all near misses within the location and use our reporting tools to log and ensure corrective action where relevant. Ensure that management are made aware of any and all incidents. 
  •  Oversee and support all inward stock movements, processing timely and accurate receipts from Suppliers.
  • Accurately manage and process and procedures, create, maintain, train and publish all relevant documentation and ensure effective staff training. 
  • Coach, support and manage all Warehouse Persons in operation at the location in line with Company procedures. 
  • Deliver an efficient and effective Warehouse operation, leading and supporting the following daily activities: 
    • Receive, process & store all inbound shipments/stock accurately and in an organised way in the warehouse, supporting efficient picking and outbound activities. 
    • Picking of all outbound stock transactions as required for the recipient, following company procedures, and using IT systems where appropriate. 
    • Induct, replenish, pick and pack goods in an efficient, timely and safe manner. 
    • Actively maintain and improve housekeeping throughout working hours ensuring that stored goods are kept tidily and in the correct place in accordance with company procedures. 
    • Lead and support with regular stock take activity, ensuring inventory accuracy and reducing operational waste. 
    • Support where required to the production of essential transit accompanying documentation, using business systems to produce essential documentation including packing lists and commercial invoices. 
    • Adhere to all regulatory requirements within operational processes including appropriately presenting, packaging, marking and segregating of outbound orders as required for distribution by road, air, and sea freight.
    • Ensure that with all aspects of Health & Safety policies and procedures are complied with in all daily activities.
Key Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
  • 2+ Years experience in a warehouse supervisory position in PKFZ. 
  • Demonstrable hand-on experience in warehouse operations. 
  • Forklift License. 
Technical / Functional Expertise
  • Understanding of shipping modes and requirements.
  • Strong IT system operational skills and computer literate. 
  • Effective daily communication & resource planning is in place and perform DILO WILO & MILO, within the warehouse. 
Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies 
  • Team Player.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills.
