The opportunity
Reporting to a highly experienced and regarded EGM, People & Culture, you will lead the organisation’s HSW strategy, governance, and performance across a complex, multi-site environment. Working within a collaborative national team, you will set direction, drive compliance, and proactively manage risk through effective controls, frameworks, and hands-on leadership.
Selection criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification in WHS or a related discipline
- Lead Auditor or Internal Auditing qualification (completed)
- Proven experience in a senior HSW role, ideally within a community, human services, or people-centric environment
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and applicable Australian and New Zealand standards
- Current driver’s licence with the ability to travel interstate as required
- Demonstrated leadership experience across complex, multi-site and/or high-risk environments
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, clear priorities, and measurable improvements
