- You will maintain and validate critical employee information, including direct deposit details, tax elections, and other payroll data
- You will investigate employee payroll questions and resolve time-sensitive issues within established service expectations
- You will produce post-payroll reports and support audits, balancing, and reconciliation activities
- You will serve as a trusted payroll partner to HR, business leaders, superintendents, and employees
The Background That Fits
- 3-4+ years of hands-on payroll administration experience in a complex or high-volume environment
- Direct experience processing union payroll, including union benefits reporting and working with different union jobs or agreements
- Working knowledge of prevailing wage requirements, union-benefit calculations, payroll deductions, and payroll check processing
- Experience managing frequent hires, terminations, employee changes, and expedited or next-day check requests
- Payroll system experience with Dayforce, Workday, or UKG; hands-on Dayforce Payroll experience is strongly preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, with experience supporting payroll reporting and reconciliations
- A detail-oriented, service-minded approach with the ability to communicate confidently across HR, operations, field leadership, and employees
