In this role, you'll be responsible for the final stage of the printing process, converting large rolls of printed labels into customer-specific quantities while ensuring every finished product meets our high quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, family-owned company that values teamwork, quality, and long-term career development.What You'll Be DoingAs a Bindery Operator, your core responsibilities will include:-Operating Bindery Equipment: Set up and operate bindery and finishing equipment to convert printed label rolls into finished customer orders according to job specifications.-Quality Inspection Packaging: Carefully inspect finished labels for defects, package completed products, wrap finished rolls, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining strict quality standards.-Production Support: Read and follow job tickets, safely move materials using manual pallet jacks, maintain an organized work area, and assist with training new team members as needed.-In addition, you will also be expected to follow all safety procedures, maintain accurate production standards, work collaboratively with your team, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:No previous bindery or printing experience required—we're willing to train motivated candidatesAbility to read a ruler and perform basic math calculationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPositive attitude with excellent communication skillsAbility to lift up to 45 lbs occasionally, lift lighter materials repeatedly, and move skids using a manual pallet jackAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a production environmentSkills:-Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable learning bindery equipment and production processes.-Quality Focus: Ability to identify defects and ensure finished products meet customer specifications.-Organization Reliability: Strong time management, dependable attendance, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Why Join Us?This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with a respected, family-owned company in a clean, climate-controlled facility.
