Technical Artist – Mobile Games – 100% Remote (UK only)
A Manchester-based Games studio are currently looking for a Technical Artist to work on a series of new games on mobile platforms. The studio founders have a long history with developing successful projects and are working on something new and fresh, which brings together competitive gameplay in a fun, easy to use setting.
As the Technical Artist, you will collaborate heavily with the Creative Director, to help with bridging the gap between artists and engineers, ensuring an efficient art pipeline and optimised games. You’ll also help with modelling and texturing assets to go into the games, some basic animation experience would be a bonus too! Your primary focus will be to heavily work with the assets in the experiences, ensuring they look and feel realistic for the players. The games have already been showcased at numerous Worldwide events, from F1, Wimbledon and the Premier League.
The studio is around 8 people, meaning you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and wear multiple hats, this role is definitely suited to a generalist Technical Artist who enjoys a strong variety of work and genres of games to work on

Salary Range - £35,000-£55,000
Requirements
• At least 2 years experience as a Technical Artist
• Worked on games on either Console/Mobile or PC platforms (a bonus if you’ve worked on mini games)
• Experience with Unity
• Proficiency in either Maya, Blender or 3ds Max
• Experience with Sports games would be a bonus
• Basic animation skills would be a bonus
• Massively beneficial if you are a fan of football and other sports
• A portfolio demonstrating your work
