Expression of Interest - Qualified Tradespeople

CoreStaff Darwin are currently taking expression of interest for qualified tradespeople for upcoming FIFO, remote and local opportunities across the Northern Territory. We are seeking experienced and ticketed tradespeople for both short-term and long-term assignments.

We are looking for qualified:

• Electricians
• Carpenters
• Plumbers
• Boilermakers
• Mechanical Fitters
• Diesel Fitters
• Trade Assistants (experienced)
• Other qualified trades encouraged to apply

About the Role:

• FIFO, remote and local opportunities available
• Short-term, long-term and ongoing assignments
• Various rosters available including Monday to Friday, weekend work, day/night shifts and shutdown opportunities
• FIFO rosters may include options such as 2:1, 3:1 and other site-specific rosters
• Competitive hourly rates ranging from $55.00 to $80.00 per hour, depending on site, role, roster and experience

Your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out trade-specific maintenance, repairs and installations
• Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Working safely within mining, construction, industrial and civil environments
• Using hand and power tools
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following site procedures and safety requirements

To be successful for this role you will need:

• Relevant Australian Trade Qualification
• Current driver's licence
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Relevant trade licences where applicable (e.g. Electrical Licence, Plumbing Licence)
• Previous experience within mining, construction, industrial or maintenance environments
• Additional tickets and certifications highly regarded (Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, RII plant tickets, Dogging, Rigging, etc.)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable transport (for local roles)
