Profusion has partnered with a leading Global Investment Manager looking to add an Analyst to their Institutional Account Management team in Sydney. The fund manages a diverse range of strategies across public and private markets, serving institutional clients including superannuation funds, insurance companies, and government-related asset owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate client reports spanning performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation, and risk metrics, while supporting ongoing automation and streamlining of reporting processes
- Analyse portfolio data including qualitative and quantitative performance attribution to support account management and client communications
- Produce ad hoc responses to client, consultant, and auditor requests for information, drawing on strong product and market knowledge
- Support new business development activities including identifying opportunities, driving marketing campaigns, and preparing finals presentations
- Research institutional investment trends and develop educational content and marketing materials to support existing and prospective client relationships
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
- 2+ years' experience in a client-centric role within asset management or wealth management
- Familiarity with multi-asset and private markets strategies with a strong interest in financial markets and macroeconomics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg and query tool experience highly regarded
- Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
