CNC Lathe OR Swiss Machinist – Operator / Setup Operator

Location: Gilbert, AZ
Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Openings

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced CNC Swiss Machinists for both Operator and Setup Operator openings on 1st and 2nd shift. This position supports precision manufacturing in a fast-paced production environment producing high-quality machined components for a variety of industries.

Candidates should have experience operating and/or setting up CNC Swiss machines, working with Fanuc controls, performing inspections, and maintaining quality standards in a production setting. Experience working with both tight-tolerance precision components and higher-volume production parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

CNC Swiss Operator

  • Operate CNC Swiss machines in a production environment

  • Load raw material and monitor machine performance during production runs

  • Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators

  • Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work instructions

  • Make minor tool wear offsets and adjustments as needed

  • Maintain production quality and efficiency standards

  • Troubleshoot minor machine or tooling issues

  • Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures

CNC Swiss Setup Operator

  • Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and job changeovers

  • Set tooling, load programs, and verify first article inspections

  • Edit offsets and make adjustments at the machine as needed

  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues

  • Optimize cycle times and improve production efficiency

  • Support operators during production runs

  • Ensure parts are manufactured to print and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Experience operating and/or setting up CNC Swiss machines required

  • Experience with Fanuc controls preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
