Senior Sales Executive - Commercial Security Systems


Jayce Grayye Consulting & Recruiting is searching for a Senior Sales Executive to join a nationally recognized security systems integrator serving commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, critical infrastructure, and government clients.


Our client is looking for a true hunter. Someone who can walk a facility, identify security vulnerabilities, recommend the right solution, and close business.

If you've sold access control, CCTV, perimeter security, gates, barriers, low-voltage systems, or other installation-based security solutions, this could be your next opportunity.


As a Senior Sales Executive, you'll own the entire sales process:

  • Prospecting and developing new business opportunities
  • Conducting site walks and facility assessments
  • Identifying customer security challenges
  • Recommending cameras, access control points, gates, barriers, and perimeter security solutions
  • Presenting customized proposals
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals
  • Building long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business


This is a consultative sales role where your ability to understand a customer's environment and recommend the right solution directly impacts your earning potential.

  • Base salary of $70,000 - $100,000
  • Realistic earnings of $110,000 - $200,000+ annually

What This Job Entails

  • Developing new business throughout the Greater DMV territory
  • Prospecting and generating net-new opportunities
  • Conducting on-site facility assessments and site walks
  • Recommending security system layouts based on customer needs
  • Working closely with engineering and operations teams
  • Managing deals from first conversation through installation agreement
  • Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
  • Presenting proposals and negotiating pricing
  • Managing 2-6 month project-based sales cycles
  • Expanding existing customer relationships through additional solutions
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals


Requirements (What It Takes To Win Here)

This role isn't for entry-level salespeople.


We're looking for professionals who have successfully sold security solutions in the field.

  • 3+ years of commercial security, access control, CCTV, perimeter security, low-voltage, or related infrastructure sales experience
  • Experience conducting site walks and facility assessments
  • Proven ability to recommend system layouts and security solutions
  • Experience owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing installation-based or project-based sales opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently throughout the territory
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
