Are you a graduate in Chemistry or another Technical Science discipline and interested in starting your career in the Life Sciences industry in a role that combines science, business, and customer interaction?

An exciting aopportunity has become available for a Sourcing Administrator to join the Life Science Department of a growing international company that supplies raw materials to customers across Ireland, the UK, and global markets.

This role is ideal for a chemistry graduate who enjoys working with people, wants to develop commercial skills, and are interested in how scientific products move from supplier to customer.

*THIS IS NOT A LABORATORY BASED ROLE*

What You Will Be Doing

With full support, you will be involved in:

  • Communicating with customers regarding product enquiries and requests

  • Sourcing raw materials for industrial and manufacturing clients

  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing and availability

  • Supporting quotation preparation alongside the Sales Manager

  • Assisting with business development activities

  • Completing quality documentation and questionnaires

  • Coordinating samples and supporting supplier contracts

  • Maintaining databases, preparing reports, and assisting with internal audits

  • Building strong working relationships with customers and suppliers

What We Are Looking For

  • A third-level qualification in Chemistry or another Technical Science discipline(essential)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good IT and organisational abilities

  • An interest in developing a career in the commercial side of the Life Sciences industry

  • A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude

Previous customer service or office experience is an advantage
