A rapidly growing electrical and control‑panel manufacturer is seeking a technically strong professional to take ownership of tendering and technical sales support. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience in MCCs, DBs, MSBs, and custom control panels who enjoys the commercial side of engineering and wants to step into a high‑impact position.
 

What You’ll Do

• Own the tendering and quoting process end‑to‑end 
• Review scopes, identify risks, and prepare accurate costings for MCCs, distribution boards, main switchboards, and control panels 
• Translate complex electrical and control‑panel requirements into clear, commercially sound proposals 
• Support sales activity with technical insight, accurate tender preparation, and practical build‑quality guidance 
• Help remove the bottleneck currently limiting sales growth by taking full ownership of inbound tendering 
 

What You Bring

• Trade background + engineering degree (ideal) 
• Hands‑on experience with switchboard or control‑panel assembly, wiring, testing, or commissioning
• Strong understanding of breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, HMIs, drives, power distribution hardware, and control components  
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, single‑line diagrams, and identify scope gaps or compliance risks 
• Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., AS/NZS 61439, wiring rules, segregation, fault ratings) 
• Commercial awareness and strong communication skills
