Licensure & Certifications
- Coordinate specialty medical equipment and monitoring needs, including cardiac monitors, Oxygen tanks, G-tubes and other prescribed devices.
- Seizure recognition and response
- G-tube feeding procedures
- Medication administration
- Emergency medical response
- Infection control practices
- Student-specific medical protocols
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum two years of nursing experience preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric, developmental disability, school-based, or medically fragile populations preferred.
- Knowledge of seizure disorders, medication administration, enteral feeding, and chronic health conditions.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
- CPR Instructor certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
Licensure & Certifications
- Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain within designated timelines.
- Valid California Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required.
- Ability to successfully complete and maintain Linden Oaks-approved crisis prevention and intervention training (e.g., QBS).
